Home Basic

Complete home birth midwifery care, from your first prenatal visit through six weeks postpartum.
- 8–12 prenatal visits
- 2–3 lab draws (lab fees not included)
- Labor support and delivery care
- Immediate postpartum and newborn care (2–3 hours)
- 2 postpartum/newborn home visits
- Newborn CCHD, hearing, and metabolic screening; vitamin K
- 2-week and 6-week postpartum visits
You provide
- Birth kit and supplies
- Metabolic screening card (ordered from the health department)
Home Plus
$4,200
Everything in Home Basic — plus Melissa provides your birth kit and supplies.

Payment & Insurance
Gentle Birth is private pay only. On request, Melissa provides coded bills you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
